you can do it

Don’t ever doubt yourself. If you want something bad enough, you can have it. Many of our runners thought they would never be able to run 60 seconds, much less 4 miles. Well, look at you now! Running 4 miles and although it may not be a walk in the park, you’re doing it and doing it well!

I find this guy quite inspiring. He was not a runner, did not have a “runners body”, was not in good health but he made a decision to turn all of that around and look at him now:

  1. Dear dudes, I am so excited for the 4-Miler that I can barely stand it. I’ve not run many races but tonight’s run is my absolute favorite. It’s the most fun you can have with running shoes on. If you’ve never run it, expect plenty of folks in their lawns and on the patios of bars cheering you on and, yes, the Star Runners after party is the envy of other (non-Star-Runners) runners. (You can see it on their sad, sad faces as they walk by with no beer or pizza!)  In short, I think you’re going to have a great time. Can I get an amen out there?! See y’all tonight! – Toby

  2. Gentlemen. Gentlemen.Just because Trey is being whiny like a baby and defeated like a Russian in a Rocky movie does not give us the right to gang up on him and make fun of his tiny, slightly bruised, Ben-Gayed and bandaged little paw. You go feel better, Nemesis. I’m clowinin’ on ya, man. People came from miles just to hear about how nasty that thing was. Hate that ya gotta miss the race. Feel better.

Got somethin' to say?
